Beginning on December 8, 2105, the Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica will be opened for a special Jubilee Year. Pope Francis has called this extraordinary Jubilee for the Church to focus on the theme of Mercy, particularly as it is made available to us in the form of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
