Who may attend? Though this event is especially for youth, Bishop Olson desires that every Catholic in this Diocese consider going; the only requirement is that youth who have not yet reached their 15th birthday by the summer of 2016 must be accompanied by a parent.
How many spots are available? There are 150 total spots available. The policy is first come first serve. To guarantee a spot please have the contract signed and the initial deposit ($200) paid. If we go over 150 people then we will place additional people on the waiting list.
What if I have to pull out of the pilgrimage? If a person drops, then the pilgrim is responsible for finding their replacement. All deposits are non-refundable. You may contact Melissa Loza email@example.com , Gabe Gutierrez firstname.lastname@example.org or Jason Spoolstra Jason@stthomaspilotpoint.org to ask if there is someone on the waiting list to contact about replacing you.
I’m an adult and I would like to attend WYD 2016; do I have to go as a chaperone? While chaperones will be needed on the trip, the Diocese does not expect every adult participant to volunteer. You may go to WYD 2016 simply as a part of the pilgrimage.
