If you are a newly-engaged couple checking our website to begin marriage preparation: congratulations on your engagement!
To begin the process of preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony at St. Peter's, the first step is to contact the Parish Office and set up an appointment to meet with Father as a couple.
Before meeting with Father, print off and carefully read our Marriage Guidelines. These describe in detail all of the steps necessary for marriage preparation at St. Peter's and also outline our wedding policies.
Once you have met with Father, the wedding may be scheduled in the Parish Calendar. According to the policy of the Diocese of Fort Worth, weddings must be scheduled at least nine months in advance.
Marriage Preparation at St. Peter's is made up of three components:
